I never went to any parties in high school thanks to my overprotective parents. I think thats why i romanticize high school parties in tv and movies because I never actually got to experience one. To be realistic tho, i probably wouldn't have had much fun since loud music makes me nauseous and I get socially anxious. I never went to any parties in high school - never got invited. I was psyched when I finally got invited to a bunch in college - which is when I discovered I hate dark, loud, crowded areas and being drunk. I felt very much like this little anxious monster!
