venthead #3

incompetent.

fun fact, I actually hated work on this, it took so unbelievably long to do the arms and then I really struggle with the colour palette and detailing, however it is fitting that for a piece based on incompetence (lacking the skills to do something successfully) that I would find myself struggling with my skill set,,, and yet I accept that while it’s not my vision of perfect it is still an showcase of sitting down and trying to better my craft despite the outcome, cheesy I know.

Right, so with that aside, another question to go alongside a Venthead piece; if you could master any skill right off the bat, what would it be? (I studied an little sign language a few years back but i’de love to know how to do it again)

This looks amazing! I really love your style!

Any skill right of the bat huh? Hmm maybe learning a language? But I think that just totally mastering something immedietly could be quite boring (and maybe very sudden and jarring if it were actually possible), there is something so lovely about the journey you take to reach your goal , for example, I often learn new things when I do art and it's one part of what makes art special to me- that there is always something new I can learn, that I can always keep improving, I think that's one of the things that make life interesting in general
I will never understand how u manage to make such good art that also encompasses the feeling of the topic you are doing a masterpiece of 😩✊🏻 also if I could master any skill, it'd be hard to just choose 1. I'd prefer to master what I'm incompetent in like the crap I'm studying now, art, technology (I'm too boomer for this), knowing how to carry a conversation with other people, sign language (I've always wanted to learn it), lots of stuff !!
