Darkness scares me.
For all eyes wish to see something where there is nothing and unknown. Something, anything familar. Again and again, in the hour of midnight I wander aimless and alone in the abyss. Over time I felt the Dark close in around me.
But it fell like a blanket, beckoning me with dreams. Ghosts of my own want unravelling in the smokey silence. There were nightmares too, but I found myself in all of them nonetheless.
