Elven Profile Pic
This was my first creation for my profile picture.The elven aesthetic was a way of me capturing my soft personality and timid nature at the time of starting this journey.
3 months ago on June 17th 2022, I was finally able to moved out/run away from my parents from a not so good situation. Since I've been out and in a safe place, I've done a lot of introspection and healing. I still have a long way to go, with both healing, and building my character.
The soft and timid nature I wanted to display and be understood was bc of where I came from. I had to be as small as possible, and I was often abandoned or neglected. And anything I cared about was always used to manipulate and control me.
This shy and skiddish nature was me reflecting on how hard it was for me to be ok with and feel safe in my new environment, simply bc of trauma from the place I just got out of. It takes time to grow and be able to trust and feel that you are safe.
Once I finished this piece, I wasn't quite satisfied, bc while it is a part of me, there is so much more that more accurately depicts who I am as a person.
And uh, if you managed to read all of this, then I find you to be a very interesting person. I'd quite like to meet you. :D
