I think you'll improve quickly on your own if you keep drawing and try out various styles you see around! :> usually grass doesn't start right after the waterline, there's usually sand, rocks or something between, check from real pictures

•Nice drawing! Really cute. A suggestion I have would be maybe work on the grass? Having the grass copied and pasted makes it look a little too uniform. Maybe have a couple different grasses copied around, or even drawing in the grass manually might look a little more natural
