I forgot about this app and I actually really like it. I just feel I don’t have time for all the social platforms there are. I am quite active on Instagram. I use Twitter to keep myself informed but I don’t post much anymore because the engagement is really low. I’ve been there for many years and I don’t see any growth. I left Facebook last year, the most toxic of all, and it has been great. I guess I’m too old to handle more than two of them

I'm glad I'm not the only one! I too have a really hard time keeping up with social media, especially with more than two! I find it really drains me sometimes when trying to scramble to post everywhere. It can feel like chucking a beloved piece of art at a highway of cars and hope it lands on someone's windshield. And that's not what art's supposed to be. Though I do really like artfol, as I find that feeling is non-existent here. I am indeed in the same boat of people though that just wants to have fun painting and post without having to deal with the dreaded algorithms. I'm glad you're finding ways to balance yours!

•I love it here. Finally a art space where everybody is equal and I can see everything without a stupid algorithm blocking my way.
Though I still post on Twitter. Not that anyone cares but me. Especially with the Artfol weblink. That's just the perfect portfolio and overview. Though people could easily steal your pictures. But that is easy anyway nowadays.

•Artfol is the best art platform to me. Other than the community it also feels really safe and the devs really care about art thieves and reposters. I used to post on instagram too but nowadays I only post like samples of my art and post the full versions here. It's safer for my art that way hahaha but if I have multiple platforms I guess I would use others to promote my main platform, like only post the best one and redirect them to my main one...but I think copy-paste is also a convenient way to do it :)))

•Artfol is my favorite social media for art platform by far these days! I’m really glad the community here is so warm and welcoming and positive. I hope the community continues to grow, because the other places you mentioned feel empty and/or negative in ways to me, as well. They’re rather draining imo and don’t feel like a great way to really connect with others… I also can’t really handle multiple accounts at once—I hear ya there. But if I was feeling ambitious, I’d probably copy paste!
