Revisiting childhood movies: The Adventures of Tintin

"Great snakes!"

Here we have another underrated gem. This is both the best mocap movie and the best Steven Spielberg film of the 2010s. The mocap never looks uncanny, great story, great characters, great voice acting, satisfying scenes, Edgar Wright involvement, just a great time overall. Sure wish the sequel wasn't in Nickelodeon's whirlpool of stalled projects.

Xtra Notes:

-Can't have an Edgar Wright-involved film without the main duo from the Cornetto Trilogy, and it's satisfying to see.
-Snowy's the real MVP in all of this. What a good boy!
-A fear of open spaces? It's more likely than you think.
-Haddock and Snowy's reactions at the opera performance in Baghar is exactly how I feel about opera music.
-They really set up a sequel...and it continues to not make much progress. Like, the film made its money back financially, but because a script hasn't been written and Peter Jackson is busy with other things, it's been trapped in the whirlpool. Will there be an update on its progress? No one knows...
