Taide, Inferno Canto XVIII

Taide was a prostitute punished for adulation, in life she had sexually praised her lover, and now trapped in hell she was tearing her skin with her nails.
The incredible part is that Dante places the girl in the infernal circle to an error in reading the texts of Cicero, attributing to her a phrase not pronounced by her.
