Original character: Higgor (redraw)Yup, more OC stuff~ I was redrawing this old character of mine and decided to test some different lighting kinda inspired on Samuel Spano 
The point is that this time I tried using a flat pastel yellow in a normal layer (instead of any saturated color + blending layer how I usually do) and I love how it turned out! Any critique?
Higgor is a dumbass but he can be pretty scary when things get serious

It really doesn't have to be on a blending layer but if you want to do it like this make sure to do another layer with color dodge and go over the highlighted areas with an airbrush probably with a more saturated tone.
