Have you ever thought about changing your name irl?
I thought I'd be fine with my name no matter what, but recently I seriously considered changing it, and now I kind of want to ;-;
(I'm not gonna say what my irl name or what I want it to be is, but the one I want is literally a one letter difference, so not much changes, but I like it)
You don't have to say your irl name or what you want it to be or anything, but I'm curious if other people think about changing their name, or have already changed it, etc. :DNov 18, 2021

I changed my name 5 years ago, well added a middle one at least. Because I always wanted that name as a kid and still wanted it when I was 18 so I added it. I still like my first name tho and don’t use the middle name that much, but people that I meet for the first time ask me what I go by wich I’m still getting used to. And actually one of my brothers use it sometimes

Mmmh I never really liked my first name, but it feels more natural for my family and close friends to call me by it. Some people call me Jones though, it’s close and I like it.

•I go by a different name than my legal name most places, but changing it legally would defeat the purpose since it is a pseudonym

•If I did, I’d change to Cash because it’s my middle name and part of my usernames on other platforms. All my friends on discord know me as Cash so it’s easier to me. And my mum uses a nickname (that I hate) anyway.
I’ll probably just end up using it as my name like how people prefer to be called by their last y name :)

•I've already done it. I never liked mine and no one I cared about used it (plus I'm trans) so for me it was a super easy decision. Personally, I think you have one life so if there's something you want, no matter how small it might feel, you should pursue it! But try having people in your life use your new name first to be sure though before you go through the whole process
