Backstory time!!! Get ready for this trauma fest (tw for car crash)
So long before coming to Cipher Academy Knil struggled with making friends. He was super shy and no one really even noticed he was there. He was just a small boy that no one really cared about.
That is until a little girl had decided to talk to him. She was only the smallest bit taller and had a very outgoing personality. She was well liked and always seemed happy.
And she sort of forced a friendship onto Knil (not that he minded). The two were almost inseparable. Almost…
It was about two years before Knil got into cipher academy when she had to move away. He was on his way back from saying his last goodbye when catastrophe struck. A large truck had crashed straight into their car sending him sprawling to the ground, head slamming on the surface.
It was a miracle that he and his father had survived. Some bones were injured and he had a lot of scars but mostly he was alright… except for the fact that he couldn’t remember anything.
Over the two years he was helped through the process of remembering his life. It was all going pretty well. The only thing he hadn’t remembered however was the face of his best friend.
He knew who she was from the stories he was told and the fragments of memories he had. But he couldn’t picture her face. It was terrible. He wished he could remember. He wished he could see her. But he couldn’t.
He was so scared.
Scared he’d forget his father and mother. Scared he’d forget his name. Scared because he had spent over four years with her and could barely remember her name.
That’s when he took up photography.
He was so terrified of forgetting another face or important memory that he began taking pictures of all the important things that he was going through. New friends, fun activities, and even the landscapes he found cool.
Unbeknownst to him, he was slowly adopting her personality without even remembering her. He became peppy and outgoing. He craved the feeling of friendship more than ever.
And now at cipher academy Knil may just have a shot at new friends and maybe a chance to find an old one.Dec 26, 2022
