Hello I feel like I'm in a bit of a art slump.
I need help and guidance with my art basically I have been trying to get my art out there more because I want to make my art into a living and create art for people I have been looking up tutorials but they haven't been working I think the thing is maybe I'm a little inconsistent with my art or I'm not improving fast enough I'm having trouble with what people like about my art. It's just a whole lot that I'm questioning at the moment and what will help me become a better artist. I love drawing fan art so I don't really want to stop because that has been my main inspiration. Took at look at your Instagram and this may come off as harsher than intended but I hope to offer it in genuine criticism and not malice. Your art, the fanart in particular, isn't offering me something that makes me feel engaged or excited. That is, most of your images are headshots or bust shots, but if I'm a fan of the show, I don't really want to see still images like that from fanartists, I want to see unique takes and approaches to the characters. I'm not saying you can't draw in the same style the show was made in, but you gotta add a unique flair that separates your work from all the other fanart people are doing of the same character. Fanart is competitive and everybody wants to add their own take to a character, so you gotta do something to make yours different.

He takes extremely well known characters and does something so different with them. You don't have to go super all out offerent like that, but show the audience something they can't get just from the existing show, because they will always prefer the original version of something to the copy if they aren't too different. Create a unique spin or artistic approach on these beloved characters and it'll help you stand out!

•One of the best things to do is take a break, sleep or eat or do an alternative thing you like. It's also good to get inspo from music and pictures, like aesthetics and mood boards. There's my advice, and I hope you get to feeling better!
