Wooden bowl 2
I was at the fleamarket yesterday and I actually found a wider curved wood chisel\( ^ 0 ^ )/
Still have to de-rust, sharpen it and work out the dings. Still less nicked than my straight chisel was in the beginning >u<"
But back to the bowl! I want to try my hand at carving some dimensional leaves around the bottom.
Still got quite some shaping to do but I found some more comfortable ways of clamping it to my writing desk so that should go smoother than before. Not having a level empty bit to clamp down on was troublesome. Now I figured out how to clamp it horizontally, similarly to how I fixed my stuff in place at uni. Works out way better.Aug 14, 2023
