It's getting harder and harder to distinguish human art from AI. Which is very creepy and cool at the same time.
I think AI should be regulated and used to improve our artistic skills and open our creativity for thousands of possibilities in terms of composition. Not to replace our jobs and force us to raise our prices because someone decided:
- Hey, I never drew in my life, but I can be an artist now. I can ask 400 USD for a commission.
And companies be like:
- Hey, I don't see a point in spending more money to hire an artist/designer. We can, literally, just use AI and get the same profit!
We might even reach a point where we'll see putting effort in our own art as useless and give up, switching to start using AI. Or making actual art will be considered an "ancient art skill", which may bring extra value to us, but also less accessible and a little more pricey. Just like if we buy from Etsy vs AliExpress.

I think the concept of AI is interesting, but there should be rules (especially involving art theft and using it to make money)
I feel like while AI can be used for fun and all, it goes down the drain once corporations start wanting to take advantage and want it replace animators/artists/etc.
This came from someone talking about programming, but he said that “computers are stupid as they cannot think for themselves, they only do what they are told to do.”

I don't like the idea or art places filled with things not drawn. I like the idea of generated things being used as references or inspiration, but I want to see that intentional touch of an artist. So far, theres still a kind of "AI feel" on AI stuff. I hope that stays!

I don’t like it even though I barely know anything. I just don’t want technology to advance so far where robots are taking over human jobs and stuff. I think AI should just vanish completely because if it stays it’ll get worse over time and people may be out of a job

I feel like AI can never replace real artists. Because on the fact that it generates art from existing images and mixing them up in a big stirring pot. There will always be artists but ofcourse it will get harder for people to produce and sell up to the same speed as ai. As if its not already hard enough, being a self built artist selling your own work to others isn't easy.
But as artists I feel like the emotion that is created into a picture can never be replicated and if it can its still not with the same intent.
All in all I think ai art is not something to be dismissed and slightly scary. You know, that stuffs advanced tech, who knows what they'll do with ai next

AI must be a tool to further our creativity & raise our potential to innovate & create beautiful works with meaning behind it. I hope AI doesn't replace humans in any domain.
