#4 ✨Inspiring Art Challenge ✨ // When I'm having an art low or feel uninspired, I often turn to #artchallenges. As a result, I've decided to provide challenges (for you and myself) with random #prombts, #topics, #emoji packages, #moodboards, or other crazy/ spontaneous ideas on a regular basis. // THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS CHALLENGE: Create a work of art that is either drawn onto a STICKY NOTE or about them. Sticky notes are easy for me to draw on and bring joy without much pressure. I wanted to do a simple but entertaining challenge. Sticky note challenge !Here is my take on the post-it/sticky note challenge ! I had this old unfinished drawing in my sketchbook that I really didn't like at all, I tried to fix it by sticking these little post-it papers over some of the messed up part to see if I could redraw it better.

I didn't have the typical yellow square notes, but I found these super saturated colored rectangle notes ; to be fair they aren't so convenient to wright on, specifically because of the color. But for this drawing it added a weird modern art vibe, it's not what I usually do but I enjoyed the crazyness of it. I also added a patterned washi tape on the background because it seemed to fit the colors, I used colored pencils and highlighters on top of the colored parts for shading, and alcohol based markers for the grey body and the hair clips. Also the lineart was drawn with a ballpoint pen, so there's sort of a school supply theme...

So what do you think ? As for me I'm still not 100% convinced by this drawing, but I like it better than before and I'm glad I was able to experiment with it !Feb 12, 2022

WOAH - goosebumps!!? Like I love how u used the post-it’s like I can’t look away..

& I think using post it’s is a powerful way to experiment with existing pieces or even spice them up and I think that totally worked out in your case!
