And here it is. The moment that burned itself into my brain 5 years ago. Toma has anger issues. That’s not a stretch to say when you’ve seen the show. If things aren’t going his way, he doesn’t get sad, he gets pissed off. And he is still definitely pissed off in this comic. But with everything that he’s had to process in the last five minutes, from his brother missing his tournament, to his parents splitting up to his mother telling him clear as day what he had always suspected in the back of his mind, that she HATES him and wishes he was never born, to Toma not even getting the live with his brother anymore, the only person he’s sure still loves him… it’s all just too much.
