Fae of nature and life, she resides in the forest. Her own forest that she helps grow and protect.She is known by several names, the Forest's Spirit, the Fae of the Forest, Goddess of seasons, etc...
She is said to protect and provide for the forest and it's inhabitants. She brings about the changes of the seasons. She is rarely seen but if you happen to catch a glimpse, you will be blessed with health and fertility.
However, if one ever dares to harm her forest, they will be cursed..
Her anger is not brash or reckless, it is calm and determined.
As the tales say, she will take the years off your life, or bring you bad health; it seems inconsequential at first. Yet as time progresses, you will slowly see yourself age beyond your peers, your body will fail you, you will become always sick. There have been a few, a very few, accounts of people who have wandered into the woods and not returned, later to be found as just a pile of bones.. It is surmised that those people have committed an entirely dreadful crime against the forest.
There are some who believe that this is actually the work of the Fae's opposite, her sister of powers, they say this Fae is of death and decay. In contrast, their eyes are dull and lifeless, antlers are broken, and the plants wilt around them.
Whichever, is the truth, this Guardian of the Forest is both revered and feared.Jan 13, 2021
