Katerina
Katerina is a porcelain automaton designed to dance ballet for others. She used to not have much of a personality, being happy merely from making others smile. As automatons fell out of favor in the public eye, she was taken in by a couple with no children, and soon grew to have a better grasp of the world around her. However, the couple soon had a baby, and Katerina became a nuisance and hazard in the home. After too many incidents, She was taken out to the woods and told to remain there. Decades passed, and Katerina could only watch as moss and weather scraped away what used to be beautiful paint and glaze. A hundred years later, she sits despondent in the woods, lonely and nearly broken.Apr 23, 2021#oc
