•question about commissions•

So I’ve been Thinkin about opening commissions sometime soon, and I’m planning out prices but there’s the issue of payment.

I’ve only ever known PayPal but the fact that they charge you for simply existing kinda bugs me. I’ve heard of cashapp but not a lot, I guess what I’m wondering is, does anyone have experience with alternative payment methods? And how good/different are they from one another?

I use cashapp and it's nice. you do have to charge 25 cents each time you're putting the money into your bank account, so it's better to let it gather up instead of do it each time you get money (learned the hard way lol) and best part is, you don't have to show your real name if not wanted. my name on there shows up as "centi cide" because I don't like having my real name online, however when I tried to use paypal, it made me use my legal name so I deleted it
Paypal actually doesn't charge you if you're not using the customer insurance thing. Sorry, I don't know how it's actually called in english xD your customer can choose if they trust you and send it without the fees, but there's no way to get their money back if something happens. If they pay over goods and wares (I think that's how it's called) they get access to customerservice in case of theft or fraud. So basically you paying the small fee makes you way more trustworthy to clients :>
