Species Ref 2021
Gang’s all here.This is all the species from the Oppy’s world. (It doesn’t have a better headworld nickname than the Oppy’s world at the moment.)
Species pictured:
Rain Choro (green bird)
Lightning Choro (yellow bird)
Fire Choro (red bird)
Syrsin (rabbity thing with horns)
Oppy (little bipedal mammal)
Graul (big feathered crocodilian)
Unnamed Lizard Snake thing. I’m taking name suggestions until I figure it out.
I chose to use average sized individuals of the larger sex. The Choros are all female, the Graul could be male or female (they are not sexually dimorphic) and the other three are male.
None of them are specific characters, just generic background characters to illustrate the average sizes of the species.
All these species can talk and are sapient, (in their world they call sapient creatures People, as opposed to Animals, which cannot talk). They all have their own languages and for the most part don’t try to communicate with or learn each other’s languages. There is also an instinctive, rudimentary common language, but it’s not very practical for conversations.
It’s called the Oppy’s world in my posts but really most of the species pictured here would see themselves as the center of the universe, (especially the Choros.)
