Xencelabs for sure. They are the company made of former Wacom employees that set out to make stuff that competes with Wacom for like half the cost or less. They have a 16" 4k OLED display tablet for half the cost of the comparable current gen Cintiqs. (1200 USD vs ~2400 USD)
Also Wacom is just a crap company that uses AI to promote their products instead of hiring ARTISTS that their products are actually FOR.

•Wacom because it's used in the industry and the higher priced ones have always been good. I had my cintiq pro for 7 years and I can bet the ones available now are so much better with pen pressure. Id go with a bigger size too. But my current go to is a Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+. I love the pen, they have a partnership with Clip. It's compatable with my windows PC and I have more freedom of where to work.

I'm really happy with my wacom, the only issue I’ve had since I got it ~2018 is that I’ve worked through the paper feel layer. Nothing else.
But going through drawing tablet comparison and walk through videos would still be my go to if I were to ever get a new one.
And then base my decision on that and what my needs for it are. A pen that doesn’t need to charge being far up on the priority list.

I watched a lot of reviews around 2021 and keep up less diligently since (I ended up getting an ipad to fit my needs personally but thats a different thing). I would buy a huion of these, the monitored kamvas pro. I had one for a week and liked it but bought too big of one (22) so it was clunky, heavy, and just too huge since I like to draw in my lap (and decided on the ipad after returning). I had a roommate who got a monitored XP pen in like 2013 and it was malfunctioning (wouldn’t calibrate and pixels dead) but that was a long time ago. Just turned me off of them personally. The wacom brand has mixed reviews now: it’s pricy, for one. So you get less for more vs huion. I have an old non-monitor wacom Intuos pro from about 2012 and it still works fine (though I prefer my smaller $40 huion non-monitor to the intuos bc of the buttons and size) but I’ve seen a number of reviews on that Wacom One in particular being glitchy and crappy, and even that the wacom products in general are sending out lemons and scuffed used products to people who bought new. Can’t speak for xencelabs
