Valerian Reference Sheet
his markings are a pain to colour each time
(honestly his tail and hairs are far worse) my favourite one is the smiling headshot here!! originally i was going to add a pre-scars smile, his genuine happy face when he was playing violin or conducting an orchestra, but the space wasnāt enough ƧwƧ
Some more notes about him/ his clothes:
-Valerian is germaphobic, he wears gloves all the time when heās not at home (jk, also at home if thereās people around)
-He wears almost only shades of black since āhe has too many colours alreadyā, with only one or two accent colours (if two the second one must be gold)
- he wonāt comb his hair unless forced. otherwise it has to be done by Dogor (aka: the usual way)
-also, when he goes outside he usually cover his face too, heās not too fond of people staring g at his left side (with the scars and all, even if you try not to stare, itās very eye catching!)
-does he seems very bitter? heās probably just having another headache, going out with all the sounds around him itās a nightmare for his synesthesia (sound-colour)
-heās prone to feel pain in the whole part covered with scars when the weather changes/ thereās more humidity. He does exercise quite a bit, so luckily at least the fatigue-induced pain itās less likely to strike nowadays!
Hope you like it! and the infos :āD
(i honestly donāt know how much to write about his struggles with everyday life, but itās such a big part of his character too!!)
As always, questions are very welcome

Gosh, you do such an amazing job with the markings, and the scar detail is so good! It's so... visceral, for lack of any better word?? I can't imagine it's easy to be in a good mood with sensory issues and pain like that, I don't blame him for being bitter

ā¢Oooh Iāll come back to comment this (and more of your things) later when I have time. But I Love it!

ā¢The color scheme and the long flowing fur is a interesting addition to their personality. And I like how fleshed out the identity and history of them is. The gloves is an interesting touch and makes me think that why gloves were so popular.
