Dream question:
How detailed are your dreams? And what senses are the most dominant?
As in can you see everything clearly like when you are awake, smell, feel the surfaces of objects and so on?
I for one barely smell or hear anything. More of a muffled sound wich I just know expresses this or that.
But I can feel everything that I touch if I am aware of it (like feeling the grip of a bicicle I'm riding as well as the bumps of the street and my shoe grinding on the asphalt. But tune out things like feeling my steps when walking.)
And I see everything almost like usual. My field of vision is a bit wider and I can see things really clearly when I concentrate on them slightly.
Oh and I did not taste anything jet >w<"Jul 20, 2021

I hardly ever get dreams but when I do they are horrible, they come in sleep paralysis and it’s not fun, I can see everything, hear and even feel pain. I hardly have control of what’s going on with my body in regular dreams, I feel heavy and dizzy sometimes...I dislike dreaming not fun for me...and most dreams just depict my biggest fears...I did see an owl in a creepy dream tho...the only good thing

•Some of my dreams are insanely detailed. I’d think I’m actually living and not dreaming. It can sometimes be good, sometimes be bad. I have dreams that take place in the same universe as other ones. And because of this, I build relationships with famous people and other characters and I always love seeing them around, tho it sometimes makes me sad when I wake and stuff isn’t true like I thought it was because of my dreams. I sometimes have really vivid nightmares or I see people I love who have died. I sometimes believe that I’ve been visited by ghosts in dreams, and it’s weird.
Lately I haven’t been feeling the best tho, and I haven’t been having dreams I really remember all too much. It’s always sad when I don’t have a dream to really remember when I wake up so I’m hoping I can start dreaming normally soon

•I can never move in my dreams or talk…it’s so scary…and I can see everything, but it’s all a laggy blur. Perhaps, I am a glitch in the matrix
•
•I daydream a ton and those are incredibly vivid so I assume that my actual dreams are just as if not more detailed(I cant say for sure I dont remember a lot of my dreams)
•
•I think mine are average, one thing about my dreams is that they are very cinematic, like if I was the director, camera man, and actor simultaneously. Sometimes I can tell I’m looking at myself in third perspective, but I can’t really see myself, like I can tell I’m in the screen if u will, but I’m not there. Bit trippy lol.

•Well... I can say that in the dreams I remember I could feel fear, dread, despair... Some dreams I had felt like I was lost.
There was one in question that felt real.
I could smell the smoke from the buses, the lights from the headlights of the cars interfered with my vision, I felt a few hours of rain...

•I can occasionally taste things in my dreams and feel pain.
Ive occasionally eaten things in my dreams, usually chocolate or something sweet bc I’ll feel like I’m going to die if I get sugar in the real world.
I’ve been hurt or killed multiple times in my dreams as well, i remember a dream where I was stabbed In the head by a scorpion monster and I felt the impact in my skull.
Usually the visuals are some what vague and I’m occasionally struggling to see, and I just figured out why that is. I only have dreams where I am struggling to see in the morning when the sun is up, my eyes are in the light and it’s disrupting my dream.

•It varies, though I usually don't smell in my dreams.
Seeing usually works well, but sometimes this annoying thing happens where I want to look at something specific and whenever I try, my vision goes black. I've sprinted or partly jumped down several stairs blind too.
Also, I'm pretty sure I only ever hear conversations I have with other people, not sounds like birds or footsteps.
As for feeling... I'm not sure. I think it depends on how important it is. I once had a bear chase me and fell down, which I felt. I also felt the bear slump down next to me (didn't try to hurt me, maybe it just wanted to cuddle?) But usually I don't feel things.
I also don't taste things, at least I can't remember ever tasting in my dreams.
Though almost everything doesn't feel the same as it would in real life, it's more like my dream tells me "Oh yeah, someone hit you on the back really hard and it hurts" and I'm like "Okay then." but don't really feel like I would in the waking realm.
The most fun dreams are those that I had before, recognize and actively try to change.

•Sight and hearing is pretty big in my dreams, though whatever is being dreamt about varies a lot— it's usually a specific uneasy feeling, coupled with intrigue and bewilderment.
Nothing ever makes sense, the characters range from manic to terrifyingly calm. I cant find any other patterns, except the uneasiness and confusion a.a
(i also rarely have dreams resembling reality, and when i do, I sometimes mistake them for a memory, whichreally screws with my brain sometimes)

•Well my dreams tend to vary, some feel like movies and games while others(mostly nightmares) tend to be more realistic for some reason 0~0 I have all of my senses except the ability to scream when l need it
•
•My dreams are all different
Some are black and white, some in color. some are first pov, others over shoulder or from above. Some seem 2d animated, some 3d animated and some like live action movies.
What’s the same is my senses i guess, I can always feel almost everything. And it creates the “mood” of my dream.
LMAO once I dreamt a dream as someone else (??) and they where in a play with two others and it was a whole love triangle I DIDNT HAVE A CLUE WHAT WAS GOING ONNNN

•my dreams are the equivalent of surfing channels on a tv. these ‘channels’ are a string of unrelated events. first i would be flying in a moonlit night sky and then boom, now i’m eating spaghetti that slowly morphs into the next ‘channel’ in my dream. i can hear and see most of ‘em (hell, i can even smell some of them like wtf). my dreams are an enigma.
