Scene taken from Warrior Cats, book idk anymore. It's the scene where brightpaw gets mauled and where swiftpaw dies,,, very morbid erm

Personally, I've always imagined this scene as a chaotic, terrible scene.
Swiftpaw is so absolutely terrified. He knows he's gonna die, and he doesn't want to, but he knows this is his fault, and he can't let Brightpaw die.
Brightpaw, who is behind him, still somewhat alive. So, he stops his sobs and crying by biting his lip and, despite being absolutely horrified of the dogs and wary of all the blood around him, he does his best. He's not angry, he's desperate.

I tried to mirror all that in his expression, but due to the gloomy lightning, a lot of details I put in his face aren't visible lol... Hope one can still recognize them.

And Brightpaw only sees him fighting with all his might - she doesn't quite see the terror, which makes it even somewhat easier for her to process.Dec 7, 2024
