Borzoi vs Borzoi

finally a smöl study on how to differentiate Balbu and Valerian :D

Balbu, my sad sad child, goes by they/them! Their design is far more simple than Valerian’s one, way less colours for my peace of mind xD something i’m really sad i can’t express is their voice! Balbu is soft spoken and their voice have a warm undertone with an indistinguishable tone both very masculine and feminine. They’re a bit of a crybaby-usually- but god forbid you anger them!

on the other side, Valerian (goes by he/him) His story is coming along and won’t be part of the events of AniMalia.
He’s… complicated? Yeah, he is in every way They say the fall hurts more the higher you fall from, and it’s exactly what happened to him! Valerian used to have the world at his feet, and now it’s almost 10 years since he retired from any social interaction. He’s mostly tired (hence the very angry face) but don’t be fooled about it, if you really look at him, his hands would probably be shaking!
his coat… oh damn, HIS COAT… I hate it but i also really love it xD i love how it looks in the end, after the painting process! during i absolutely loathe it, ahahaahah! in his anthro form i decided for him to have short loosely curly hairs so that he and Balbu will have a very different silhouette! i’m pretty sure i throw in him a little bit of Sherlock Holmes too, but he’s mostly based on the Phantom of the Opera himself (with a little bit of Christine too) Valerian sure would love to have Erik’s self confidence but he has just his anger issues

ok, now that i’m done with my little oc rant (just know that i’ve been here for an hour now… ) i can only hope you like my babies and that they’re different enough to be recognisable xD
