VVA-14

On September 4, 1972, the first flight of the experimental amphibious vertical takeoff and landing aircraft VVA-14 took place.
The crew, consisting of test pilot Yu. M. Kupriyanov and test navigator L. F. Kuznetsov, spent almost an hour in the air. It was found that the stability and controllability of the machine are within the normal range and are not inferior to traditional aircraft.
Currently, the VVA-14 is in the collection of the Central Museum of the Air Force in Monino.
