A tip for drawing individual strands of curly hair; try to create continuous strands that overlap and intertwine. By doing this it creates a sense of continuity from the top of the hair to the bottom of the hair. Also, the curls will be flatter at the top of the head due to the weight of the hair and curl more tightly at the bottom. Short strands would also have the same amount of curl as the ends of the hair. I hope this was helpful! :)
