more clove

More sketches of my character, clove, with an earlier version of her Capricorn form. Capricorns in her universe are Goat-Mermaid shape shifting creatures.

In this sketch I wanted to suggest maybe her hair has more movement to it underwater but i think her silhouette would be kind of lost w/o her classic hair shape, so I scrapped this design.

When drawing her in human clothes I like to give her fun accessories and costumes, giving her devil horns, a halo, donald ducks beret, or hair curlers.

I think it’s fun to have a character that has unlimited possibility for her wardrobe, since I tend to give my characters a uniform.May 30, 2021
