Tall, weird wife

name dropping its finally here: she’s Rosetta Aileanach-Farah! but just call her Aileanach, she’s not really proud of her Farah side
now now, i don’t remember if i wrote here too or only on TH but…. Aileanach is also Beathan’s last name! why tho these two are cousins so yeah, Aleksandr married his oldest best friend’s cousin

Rosetta lost an eye pretty young, but after her 10th birthday! nothing gruesome, it was a needed operation.
Rosetta’s father was named Aiden Farah, best friend of Duncan Aileanach (who is Beathan’s youngest uncle). when Aiden had Rosetta, his father was furious with him: Rosetta is the daughter of an actress and because of her mother both of them weren’t accepted by the patriarch of Farah’s family! (yep, that was Rosetta’s grandfather) Aiden ended up leaving his family manor and disappeared with his new family for years. He did, however, kept minimum contacts with Duncan via letters.
One day Rosetta, now a 10 years old girl, ended up at Duncan’s manor with all her belongings and a letter that was- as he soon discovered- Aiden’s very last letter.
in this letter he pleaded his old and most trusted friend to adopt and raise Rosetta as his own daughter, since for him was now impossible to take care of her due to his health rapidly deteriorating.

To be fair, once her grandfather saw her, he tried to take her custody and bring her home, now regretting his decision to kick out his son. Rosetta tho, she remained adamant on never ever live with her grandfather, not even be near him anytime soon! and Duncan, for his part, wasn’t so happy to leave his old friend’s daughter with someone who didn’t thought twice on kicking out his own son.

So Rosetta, formerly the only female heir to the Farah’s family, grew up with Duncan’s family: his sons were head over heels to finally have a younger sister, and his daughter was absolutely delighted too! Rosetta definitely feels more an Aileanach than a Farah
but she does let her husband use the Farah surname if he needs it
