It's an event held every July where people gift art to each other. You make an account, join a team, and then start looking at other people's ocs to draw them. Then when you upload art, you get points for your team!
The teams and points don't really matter though, people just join to get free art and draw for others.

I’m just gonna copy-paste my Artfight informational spiel since I’m pretty sure it’ll answer all three of your questions!
Artfight is an annual, online, art trading competition held during every July!
You’re put onto one of 2 teams (last year was Bloom VS Wither) & the one who has the most points at the end of July is declared the official winner; however, technically everybody wins (in a sorta cheesy way) because we all made art for each other!
The art you create for other people are called “attacks!” Attacks with more effort put into them (EX: a colored & shaded fullbody drawing) will get your team more points than something that you spent 5 minutes on (EX: An uncolored sketch of a character’s face).
And that’s the basics of Artfight!
