forgot to mention: recently ive been having fun with drawing steam this way, where you make the background darker so the steam stands out without having to put an outline around it (theres probably a technical term for that lol) (btw, i realize that in this piece you can kinda see an outline leftover from the sketch, but that was not intentional haha)
