Blind Artist
Sunny DayMeet Thistle Sterling, a darkling in a human world. I was working on a bigger project with him and his story group (I was making design lineups) but with how big it was, I wasn't going to finish it in time. So I made this.
Thistle is kind of homely when he's not working. Comparatively, his work in the past has been as a soldier or mercenary, and more recently, the king's personal guard.
I'm not... entirely happy with it. I chose to use a 250x250 pixel canvas size, then didn't treat it as pixel art. Additionally, his face does remind me of a Muppet scarecrow, and no know? He doesn't look like that! But not all art is perfect, or comes out how you want, or works out at all. That's just how art works.Aug 8, 2025
