What's your advice for beginner artist ?
Mine is for all beginner digital art artist. You don't need to buy expensive drawing tablet for a starter tablet. Save your money for the laptop/PC and good chair.
Some of my friend once buy a expensive tablet but then regret it because they can't connect it to Toonboom software. Some of them even buy a big screen tablet but regret it because it so heavy that it broke the table.Nov 15, 2021

Also another advice of mine is stay away from NFT, If you want to find money with your art you can used app like Ko-fi, Trakteer(if you Indonesian)and Patreon. I can't say much about making money as an artist since I myself also hasn't made that much money but I know NFT is a scam that I won't touch in a million years.

God yeah. When you start ANY hobby, you should start with the mid-range equipment. Expensive will just give you anxiety about using it. Cheap will likely not be that good quality, and can turn you away from the hobby. Go mid-range - well priced, good quality, and you're not going to worry about wasting the money.
Mostly I'd say like... Don't compare yourself to others. Art is a JOURNEY. When you're a beginner, you've literally stepped out your front door. Don't compare yourself to the person on top of Everest and go "oh I could never do that!". Art is a skill that takes years to be decent at, let alone be a master. You've got to put the time and effort in.
It doesn't matter if your first drawings aren't good. What matters is you made them. Those amazing artists you see? They made rubbish drawings at the beginning of their journey too. Talent is a myth - art is a skill that must be learnt.
Enjoy the journey. Take your time, and have fun. You don't have to do anything with your art but enjoy making it.

The way the artist draws the eyes/nose/hands?
Many of us on the internet simply won't have teachers who will point out our errors, so some level of comparison becomes necessary. Not to mention even in traditional schools for painters they study works by the masters.
Don't beat yourself up because someone is better than you. Use their quality as a standard for your own and keep chipping at the weaknesses you have.

•#1: Be kind to your body, I ruined one shoulder at 14. All these years later I’m still paying for it, even though it healed enough to use again.
#2: Your materials don’t define your art. Most pros I know use really cheap stuff. I’m talking Ticonderoga number two pencil and lined paper cheap. Higher quality things can make your work faster/easier but not better.
#3: listen to people more experienced than you and don’t be arrogant. I was an arrogant kid and it set my art back YEARS. I know it’s part of growing up but please fight the urge to be cocky and rude to people who are trying to share information with you.

•Practice with what u got. No need to buy expensive art supplies or sketchbook. A pencil, paper and eraser would be enough. Save ur money for sumth else, buy urself some snacks to munch on in between practices, whatever. My point is, good art doesn't rely on expensive supplies.
Another thing, TAKE CARE OF URSELF. I've known a lot of other artists who overworks themselves to the point of burnout cuz, "i can sleep/eat later". No. Keep urself healty and safe. Get enough rest. Eat on time with enough portion. Take breaks from time to time. Ur health, physically, mentally and emotionally comes first.

•Just because it doesn‘t work the first time, doesn‘t mean it won‘t work at the second or third time! Every artist struggles with their drawings and so will you!
AND FUCKIN STOP COMPARING YOURSELF TO ALL THE OTHER ARTISTS! They started at the same point as you and look where they are yet!! You will be there too if you just keep on practicing!

•For all beginning artists in general- no one starts a genius and materials don't define skills... I remember people asking me for what my software is and being disappointed knowing it's paid- you don't need a whole art room to be an artist... And no one immediately is the best artist ever- I'm one of those artists who actually had doubles everywhere when first starting pixel art (still ashamed of that past)... Keep going at it m8s and don't compare
For pixel artists- lineart might not seem like it exists but trust me... it does. Please just avoid the doubles unless it's necessary and stick to a lineart style
