How do y’all get popular here on Artfol? Like do you just join lots of challenges and hope people see you art more or is there some kinda secret y’all hide?

engagement is huge, but it only rlly helps if u also have "good" art to accompany it(read: art that appeals to the audience on artfol, which is a more niche group of styles than you'd expect for an artist platform). ive seen some people who've been able to get a lot of clout largely from their unique/fun personalities, @/eggsbenedict comes to mind, but also people who make an art post once a week and dip, but are just uber-good at what they do.

Interaction works best if you don't have time to draw.
Being polite I was told challenges but mostly interacting with others makes them interact back with you
