I saw a kingfisher this morning.

For some reason I woke up at 3am and couldn’t get back to sleep. I decided to get up at 5am and go for a walk along the river. I could hear splashing noises now and again and couldn’t work out what it was. Suddenly I saw a flash of blue as a king fisher wooshed passed and landed on a log near by.Sep 9, 2021
