• comms always open- rant/vent because today's off to a bad start and I probably won't be able to get to school today (no tw)
today was supposed to be my first day back at school. I didn't wanna miss the bus so I went out at 6:30 (5-7 minutes earlier than the bus comes)
it's dark, pouring rain, my umbrella is almost blowing out of my hand from the wind, thundering and lightning out. I can't hear anything because of the wind and rain (can't tell when the bus is coming down the road and bad for my paranoia because there are a lot of people who are drunk/on drugs and walk around) it gets to be 6:45 (latest the bus should come) and it's still not there. I stood out there for a little over half an hour. it was 7:05 and I couldn't stand being outside anymore and got so scared I was about to throw up and my legs felt like they were gonna collapse. So I walked back up my driveway (we live on the top of a hill, at the end of the driveway is where we wait for the bus. The driveway is very long and takes a while to go down/up) and went back inside. and then you know what?? At 7:07 the bus came, honked the horn, and then drove off like 2 seconds later.
i understand bad weather probably slowed the bus down, maybe it broke down and they had to get a new one or repair it, but.....I live on the top of a hill. even if somehow I was already out of my house at the top of my driveway still when she honked the horn, I couldn't have made it down the driveway without injuring myself from trying to run down it quickly. which I've already done multiple times, once again just recently. i am physically incapable of getting down my driveway in the amount of time that was given before driving off. my mom's at work and my dad isn't going to drive me most likely, he hates driving me to school, and that really sucks, I need to have as little unexcused absences as possible. we are allowed to be exempt from final tests (not EOC) if we have a certain grade and low amount of unexcused absences. I NEED to be exempt this semester. my math teacher is so horrible and there's no way I'll pass if I'm not exempt.
i don't know what to do really now. I told my dad my bus didn't come and he just said "ok. What do you want me to do about it"
so I don't think he is going to drive me.

second update: I guess idk who my math teacher is? I tried to email the new one and I got an automated email saying "today, December 9th, is my last day working here, I will not be at this school anymore" .idk what to do

update: they changed my math teacher it seems. hopefully this one is better than last year, but I'm still not gonna do good in math
