mock manga cover
done for a contest on ig. the theme was "bonds that last". obviously, i went with a more manga-ish art style, so it's pretty different from my usualdescription:
mahou shoujo being an iconic part of manga art, i designed tsuna (meaning bond), a ribbon dancing magical girl! she uses the red string of fate to help create bonds that last with her orca pet north. (orcas spend their whole lives with family)
fun design facts
- her twintails are magnets
- the rhinestones on her leotard resemble magnetic fields
- the shoulder straps resemble an infinity symbol
