Puss in Boots: The Last Wish
Early screening, let's go!
I loved the animation in this one, it had a real storybook style that makes the first film's animation look boring in comparison. I wouldn't exactly call it a carbon copy of Spiderverse besides the action scenes, which has the choppy-looking frames going on. They were a bit distracting at first, but I got used to it.
The story and characters were more engaging than the first film as well. No more sleep paralysis egg guy, we've got bounty hunter Goldilocks and power-hungry pie man instead. There were some unexpected cameos here as well, but I'm not giving those away.
Overall, it was a candy-coated saga worth paying for. Definitely go see it when it comes out in December!Nov 26, 2022
