I know I complained about it earlier but oh my god Instagram is pissing me off, I’m trying to get rid of the restriction on my account on there but OF COURSE they hide where you can send a request to get it lifted, and I don’t wanna use the damn meta AI bot assistant to help me solve this because what the hell is a generative AI bot gonna do for me lol.
I tried looking online to see what other people did to remove it, and someone said that they switched their account from a professional account to a personal one, and I went to go into settings to do that——but I literally COULDN’T FIND THE THING THAT I WAS LOOKING FOR on that account’s settings, and I literally thought I was going crazy
so I switched to a private account that I have, AND LO AND BEHOLD, I FOUND IT ON THAT ACCOUNT AND IT WAS BEING HIDDEN FROM ME ON MY PUBLIC ART ACCOUNT
I am just so tempted to delete Instagram forever because of how much I’m so pissed off at this, but I have quite a few mutuals on there that I don’t have on here and I also have people who I know irl on the private account
but at the same time I’m also like, idgaf I got nothing to lose

Ughhh!! That’s really horrible that you’re going through this with Instagram. I’ve been hearing a lot of issues with Instagram and their artists as of lately. It’s so sad that they report real artists but meanwhile these ai art accounts and applelita and bananalita can roam in the internet freely.
