Satin Midi Skirt
I made this skirt :DI’ve been wanting a slinky midi skirt with a slit detail for a while, but I couldn’t find any I liked. So I said fine, I’ll do it myself.
I sketched out the design, took some measurements, drafted a pattern, and cut and sewed it all together in this gorgeous black satin. I had some trouble with the rolled hem foot I used for the slit since I’ve barely used it before, and I forgot how to sew the end of an invisible zip well, but I made it through!
And it looks incredible with my cosy satin-lined coat, my snake belt I made a new satin strap for, and my satin top, all of which are sewn from the same fabric! It feels awesome to wear an outfit entirely of garments I made myself (except the tights which are from snagtights.com).

At first I thought this was a dress, it looks so cohesive!!! I don't really wear skirts yet I'd definitely consider wearing one like this galactic slay
