Bungeoppang

Bungeoppang(Korea) and taiyaki(Japan), fish-shaped pastries usually filled with sweet red bean paste. All in a waffle fish mold. The reference is from a Bungeoppang shop in NYC that I took a picture of. The outer fish shell was made from mochi, so it had an extra nice crunch.May 2, 2026
