Happy belated Mid-Autumn Festival in the Season of the Witch

Here's a late illustration that depicts my moon witch bunny girl offering a mooncake to a bunny I actually started this illustration a few nights prior to the Mooncake Festival but was caught up with my Inktober drawings. It's better to be late than never.

Mid-Autumn Festival aka Mooncake Festival is a traditional Chinese Harvest Festival that is celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month of the Chinese lunisolar calendar Therefore every year, it takes place on a different date in the Gregorian calendar either on September or October. This year, it fell on the Spooky Season, October, for the first time since 5 years ago

What motivated me to draw something witchy for this year's celebratory art is because a few months ago when I learned that Mid-Autumn Festival is taking place in October (which is known as the Season of the Witch) this year, I anticipated to create a moon witch bunny girl I always had that ideation in mind if the Festival ever falls during that period. Both rabbits and witches hold association to the moon I'm really happy with how this illustration turned out, and this drawing will always mark that the Mooncake Festival was on the Spooky Season this year
