so, for his birthday, he gets redesigned lmao. This is more like his 'true' form though, his brown n gold palette version has always been his weaker 'human' form that he uses as a disguise (and an easier method of containing his powers, the vast majority of Ace's creations are entirely accidental ysee.)

Making this more 'Sheep God'ly version of him really made me realise though!! I severely underutilise silver in my character designs!!! I've always been scared of it y'know, white has always been a colour I've resented using and silver is just like that. Seraph's palette was initially supposed to use white and silver in place of gold but it was too hard for me to figure out at the time so I made him gold

But anyway, more on Ace...
I did change a detail or two when drawing him again like... right now, you see he has a bell on his horn - I changed that to be a sheep and it's much cuter IMO. His arms are more freckled and his eyes are softer too.

Specific details I'll note are:
His entire torso is just space-like void, it works like his human form's hat where he can basically pull anything from within it. He has a birdcage to contain this void and usually the only time he'll open it is to pull out the puppet that is his human form (fun fact: in his human form, his eyes are fake and never actually blink! he sees through the eye on his collarbone) , when he pulls out his puppet, he pretty much immediately becomes it and instead the puppet resembles this silver version and the puppet is then stored in the lanterns attached to his human form's hat. sheepy pupils :3. There's a lot of flowers on him because he's more springlike!! purely because when I think of sheep, I think of lambs and when I think of lambs, I think spring lmao. his hair is even fluffier than it looks. his name was chicken ball once upon a time. yes, he does have a shepherd's stick thing (not shown here)...Apr 2, 2025

Yay ! Happy birthday to him !!!

I don't know if it is just me, but the drawing actually makes me feel weird, but not in a bad way I promise !!!

What I mean by that is that I feel like this drawing is supposed to be melancholic, with his peaceful face and the shiny eyes that make me think of someone crying silently, but at the same time, the colors actually make me think of happiness !! So it kinda gives me this indescribable feeling because it feels contradictory...
