for me its when artists dont reply TO THEIR COMMENTS
it just feels so arrogant ? like you're ignoring HUMAN BEINGS ?? WHO ARE SUPPORTING YOU ??

The fucking artists who don’t credit photographers, especially the realism artists controversial opinion time but a lot of the “art” aspect of realism is how the photographer arranged their composition, mood, colors, etc etc and the realism artists have the AUDACITY to just. Redraw their art and not credit it?? Fuck ur “reference from Pinterest” caption fuck u do a Google image search it’s not that hard I’ve done it before for refs fuck you.

If you get overwhelmed by them, here on artfol you have a very cool feature called a text post where you can simply say "I greatly appreciate all the support and comments on my art, I'm sorry for not replying to everyone, I get easily overwhelmed"
AND BOOM. PROBLEM SOLVED
But uh I guess getting so many ideas and stimulation but having no time and/or energy to draw them so you just write them down but you completely forget about it so you're just like "uh I have nothing.... "

Anyway my personal pet peeve is when People message me for Follow for Follow or that "share my thing I'll share your". Like personally it's all fake and annoying. Even when someone follows me, if I don't like your art I'm not going to follow you back,because I wouldn't interact with your things. It wouldn't be right and bring you down against the algorithm.
That's a second thing. When those "promote" people try to come into your comments like fuck off. I know from first hand promoting doesn't work cause the average viewers doesn't even fucking read the caption for credit

•I guess people who are a bit more "rude" in the comments of art posts or even textposts. Like I get you're trying to be funny and extra but sometimes it just makes me go "how do I exactly respond to that?".

•On Instagram or twitter I don't always reply, mostly because I just don't know what to say, like, when someone comment under 3 of my posts, I'll reply to two of the comments and leave a like on the third because else I feel like it would be repetitive ;v;

guys it's not about when you casually forget to reply someone or, idk, the notifications are glitchy and you miss 2 or 3 comments. It's like, when people don't reply to ANY, A N Y comments. like, literally, NEVER reply. just ignore. even when it's just 1 or 2 comments, they don't reply.

•I think that it's understandable if the comment is something that's hard to respond to. Like it's not that I don't appreciate it but how do i respond to a group of emojis? "Thanks"??? Like I always like the comments and answer almost every single one but sometimes idk what to say. Anyway, one of my pet peeves is, I think, artists not saying what programs and brushes they use when asked. I get their irritation when they eg. Have the answer in a FAQ and people keep asking but if not then?? Just help someone out??? It's not like they're gonna steal your brand cuz of it
