Do you ever realize the true power you hold as an artist only to forget and be reminded on it again?
This happens to me a lot. I still remember how upset I was about the fact I can't grow a beard and was like "Look at those 14 year old boys with their already shavable beards and mustaches! I'm 21 and I STILL don't have a beard! Why must you hurt me this way, life?! This is so unfair!" and then I realized that I'm an artist and can draw whatever the hell I want. So May or May not drop artwork of my sona with a beard in the future ;)
Or when I started shipping Hamza and Andol like "Hold on! I'm an artist! I can make my own fanart! :0"
I CAN LITERALLY CREATE WHATEVER I WANT! I'M A FUCKING GOD! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

I don't think it's that special.
There's a saturation of artists who can do the same thing as I because everyone can draw and make pictures.
So I don't really think I have any power or that I am special. Like sure I can make a picture I want.... But so can everyone else. So it's not anything to marvel at.

Sometimes I think about what kind of social media following I'd have if I was a fanartist drawing the same things I do right now, but I know why my social media reception is slim right now

One of my reasons for taking up art was because of headcannons/au of animes I watched that I really want to see materialize, and all I could think of is I HAVE TO DO IT MYSELF. This is why I love being an artist :))

I was playing with the idea of larping but was extremely unsure of what I’d even do there. Till I noticed that I can just be a wandering artist, go around and do scetches for people, plop down wherever I like and just spend my time drawing.
So jeah, feel way more comfortable with that idea, and tried doing something similar at a medieval market. Just sat down, drew the cannon folks there were building and chatted.
