Potion's a sinful choice

This piece I really enjoyed working on. It is a "redraw" or more like a redesign of a very old piece I tried to redo and redon all over again lately ️

This represents how Jacob's internal struggles are eating him alive. Transforming him into something/someone he doesn't want to be because it's so different from how he's been raised and what beliefs he had to follow.

why the potion bottle then? That's something he'll have to struggle resisting to. Because a potion can lift a lot of worry and make decisions become impulsive yet true to what one really wants.

He's scared to face his own needs and wants in fear of being seen as even more miserable than he already thinks he is.

Melting into his old self and trying to keep it together in his current self...Yes sir
