It can't be only me who finds it difficult to join a dtiys without feeling weird, or a certain way.
Like, mostly artists do a dtiys for gaining a certain amount of followers. And when you find a fun looking dtiys, you are uneasy to join it , because you are not a follower/fan of the artist who posted it. Or you feel weird about posting it, because you don't want to seem like you're using the host by doing it just for views and reachability.
Or is it just me

A friend hosts a ton of dtiys so I've gotten used to it. Just draw what you find interesting, what motivates you because you like drawing stuff ^w^
Of course always reading the rules beforehand.
But if you feel uncomfortable with Follower special dtiys maybe try "normal" dtiys first and then try one you just love the design of.
Dtiys in my understanding are a way to have fun drawing, having fun looking at all the different renditions of that chara and to gift the host a smile because they see someone liking their character design and drawing a picture of their creations.
