im not someone with a necessarily big following, but ive been trying to grow my following on instagram for about 3-4 years now and ive not grown that much. (i have 500 followers rn and it’s been at a standstill for months) i really do think it takes luck to make it big bc ik people that have been on instagram for less time with a bigger following. it’s not always about skill or content tbh— it really also just depends on if the algorithm picks you up and likes what you make
