Fruit of the SpiritThis one was a little harder today because of the orange slices, they looked like a peach slice for a minute lol. Also, just wanna quickly apologize for the lack of any other art, I can be surprisingly stubborn and wanting to see this through before working on another other artwork ——— #JumeforJesus
Isaiah 40:31 “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
Kinda hard to choose a good verse for this, but when I saw this one I knew it was perfect! It takes time to grow good fruit, but the results of hard labor and patience are often worth the wait
I "picked" Oranges because they take a good time to grow, especially if you're starting from a seed or a trimming. It also takes a lot of patience to peel an orange with your bare hands depending on the size of it
|Tomorrow's fruit: Goodness!| ——— Also, turns out I was reading a different version while doing this, but in the kjv (King James Version) Patience is Long-suffering. Which is still being patient despite suffering. So here's a bonus verse!
Psalm 30:5 "-Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning."Jun 6, 2026
On the shore of the Red Sea, Moses told the Israelites (and I'm paraphrasing because I'm terrible at quoting) to be still and wait for the salvation of the Lord. Being still can be maddening when we want to see results, but as the great prophet Jackie Chan said, being still and doing nothing are two very different things. Waiting on the Lord is an act of faith, and that faith exercises patience like weights can exercise our bodies.
I'm loving these, and I hope you'll put these fruits into their own gallery so ppl can come back in the future and revisit them
