Sant Jordi 1900
Today is Sant Jordi (Saint George) and one of the most beautiful days in Catalonia. Today is the day of the book and the rose, traditionally men give a single rose to their beloved one as a symbol of their love.The streets are filled with books and roses and everything is so beautiful.
Back in 1900 we already celebrated Sant Jordi but it was only about the rose, since it wasn’t until 1920s that booksellers thought it could be a great idea to also sell books
